In Bugs Alive, children get to use real microscopes to see a range of bugs and insects like never before!
Then if you're brave enough, it's time to say hi to some real life bugs, insects and even arachnids!

-Kids will get to use real microscopes to look at some tiny features of these interesting invertebrates, using real specimens! It's the bees knees (We actually have those)...

-Then it's on to some real life mini-beasts as we get hands-on with some native insects and bugs. These native creatures love crawling all over arms and even heads in this truly up close experience.
​
-Our final activity will be getting up close and personal with some Australian arachnids! Not for the faint of heart.
​
Bugs Alive! has the option of a take-home element.
All cleaning up is done by Little Labs, and plastic table covers are supplied when required.
Protective equipment like lab coats are provided however it should be noted there is always a chance some clothing may get dirty (it’s best not to wear that Gucci top, sorry!)
Little Labs will arrive approx. 15 minutes early to set up, and we ask for 15 minutes after the session has ended to pack up.
