Lab coats on, it's time to get messy!

Using a range of scientific equipment like beakers and flasks, kids become mad scientists as we create super stretchy polymers, weird non-Newtonian fluids, and even a replica snot!

Each slime has unique and strange properties that children will love to explore.

Experience activities:

-Children get geared up to be scientists for the day. Lab coats and more will have the kids looking the part as they get ready for the lab!

-Using beakers, pipettes and syringes kids will mix ingredients and carefully create a slime that looks and feels just human snot.
-Using flasks, beakers, and more kids will create a slime that has super stretchy properties and can be made into classic putty with one extra step. We’ll explore just how far this slime can stretch by partnering up and doing some seriously fun experimenting.
-Our final slime is a non-Newtonian fluid. This simple to make slime has unique properties that make it great for experimenting. Is it a liquid or a solid? This fan favourite will keep you guessing.

Slime Science! has the option of a take-home element.
All cleaning up is done by Little Labs, and plastic table covers are supplied when required.
Protective equipment like lab coats are provided however it should be noted there is always a chance some clothing may get dirty (it’s best not to wear that Gucci top, sorry!)
Little Labs will arrive approx. 15 minutes early to set up, and we ask for 15 minutes after the session has ended to pack up.
